Expert Pain Diagnosis & Treatment

POA understands that no two wrist, hand, elbow, or shoulder conditions are alike, so it is important to determine exactly what is causing your pain. Our physicians are experts at diagnosing your condition and developing a treatment program specifically for you. In addition to gathering information regarding the history of your condition, our physicians may also use diagnostic tests such as x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. Treatment plans may include hand or shoulder surgery, but more often, wrist, elbow, hand, and shoulder pain is first treated with strengthening exercises, medication, and the use of braces or splints.

If surgery is necessary, our upper extremity physicians are board-certified orthopaedic surgeons with specialized training in wrist, elbow, hand and shoulder surgery. Our surgeons are equipped to treat all types of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and conditions with advanced methods including arthroscopy, joint replacement, and reconstructive surgery.
