Foot and Ankle Surgery

Foot and ankle injuries happen every day. Coming down from a basketball shot onto another player’s foot, turning awkwardly while playing tennis, or missing the last step on a flight of stairs can lead to painful sprains, dislocations and fractures.

Even conditions like tendonitis and arthritis contribute to painful ankles and feet, especially if you have experienced ankle injuries in the past.

Foot and ankle conditions treated at POA include:
  • Ankle sprains
  • Achilles tendon injuries
  • Stress fractures
  • Muscle and tendon strains
  • Shin splints
  • Bunions
  • Heel pain

Many foot and ankle conditions can be treated with non-surgical techniques, including rehabilitation, medication or injections. However, some injuries may require surgery to fully repair them.

POA has physicians that specialize exclusively in foot and ankle conditions. They are experts at finding out what is causing your foot and ankle pain and developing a plan to get your mobility back.
